Since 1999, I've been incorporating botanicals/essential oils in my practice to enhance the bodywork my clients receive.  Always seeking the purest, organic oils possible has been an interesting road over the years.  What you see and smell is not always what is in the bottle.  Marketing companies like Young Living and DoTerra have introduced this once small niche of the industry into the mainstream of America.  You can now find lavender in your laundry detergent and your dentist may have you rinse with tea tree oil.  It's wonderful!  But can be confusing and misleading as well.

Understanding botanical medicine, the healing properties of plants is a scientific healing art, and it takes time and experience to gain knowledge.  In this new era of Google, it's easy to look up properties of a plant or oil and instantly have a remedy.  But, aromatherapists know there is more to it.  I love sharing my years of knowledge and educating those that are interested.  Look for my upcoming workshops to learn more about the amazing healing properties of plant oils.  Or let me know if you need a blend.  I confidently state that I use the best oils on the planet!

I've been studying botanical medicine for many years, and after reading Rainforest Remedies by Rosita Arvigo, in 1994,  I took a trip to Belize to study these amazing natural resources. I've been using herbs and plant oils personally since then, as well as in my practice for the past 19 years. I find it exciting to see the main stream interest in the healing properties of medicinal plants that is sweeping across America right now.  I am certified in aromatherapy and enjoy educating others in the field and exploring the science behind essential oils and aromatherapy. I offer my clients the highest quality custom blends to help in between bodywork treatments using organic, or wild-crafted oils from a few of the very best distilleries around the world.
